I am a visual artist living and creating in the Kensington-Cedar Cottage neighbourhood of East Vancouver, on the unceded ancestral territory of the Coast Salish Peoples: the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
I delight in being amongst the trees and seeing signs of wonder in the ordinary. As a Hong Kong-Canadian immigrant, I enjoy exploring the interactions between culture, creation, and faith through a variety of mediums— especially ink, acrylic gouache, linocut, and clay. My desire is to share art that is uplifting, contemplative, and magical.
My Light in Darkness winter calendar is now available.
Kelvin was born on one side of the Pacific, grew up on the other, and bridges both with his art.

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
